    BV-SHRM places great importance on serving our community. We enjoy giving back through donation drives, resume reviews, mock interviews, educational programs, and various other volunteer opportunities.

    Holiday Food Drive

    Who and What?​
    BV-SHRM will be hosting a food drive benefiting the Brazos Valley Food Bank during our 2024 Holiday Luncheon. Please bring canned/nonperishable food to the luncheon such as items high in protein, like canned meats, peanut butter, and tuna. Other items can include canned vegetables, canned fruit, personal hygiene products, adult and baby diapers, and rice. NO home-canned foods can be accepted. Alternatively, you may purchase a ticket to our holiday raffle benefiting the Brazos Valley Food Bank and National SHRM.

    Mock Interviews

    Who and What?​
    BV-SHRM volunteers are needed to help conduct mock interviews and prepare our community members for landing a great job.

    BV-SHRM volunteers are needed to help review resumes at the BCS Chamber summer job fair.
