Membership Referral Program
Brazos Valley–SHRM is looking to grow our network, and you can help! We encourage all current BV–SHRM members to be ambassadors for our chapter by referring us to other amazing HR professionals like you. Referring a new member is easy:
- Refer online: Share your referral details with us through the form below, and we’ll provide your friend or colleague with information on our chapter and how to join.
If you would like to personally refer your friend or colleague instead, you may alternatively:
- Encourage them to apply: Share your experience being a member – your personal endorsement means a lot – and then send them our Join Now link. Be sure to remind them to list you as the referring member!
- Send them a personalized email: Use this sample email to invite them to join the chapter.
- Invite them along: Bring a guest to one of our monthly luncheons and introduce them to other chapter and board members.
Prize Drawing Guidelines
Each new member you refer will qualify you for an entry into a quarterly prize drawing, subject to the following guidelines:
- All current, active BV–SHRM members are eligible for the program.
- The referring member must be an active member at the time that the referral’s membership becomes active and at the time of the drawing.
- The new member must declare the referring member in the "Referred By" section of their application.
- The new member’s application must have been approved with dues paid prior to the drawing.
- Renewals and returning BV–SHRM members within two years of prior membership are not eligible for drawing entries.
- Each successful new member referral counts as a separate entry into the quarterly drawing.
