BV-SHRM Announces 2021 Krystal Broussard HR Award of Excellence Recipient
The Brazos Valley Society for Human Resource Management (BV-SHRM) recognized the 2021 Krystal Broussard HR Award of Excellence winner at the Chapter’s annual holiday luncheon and award ceremony on December 2nd, 2021, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in College Station, TX.
The Krystal Broussard HR Award of Excellence annually recognizes and rewards one Human Resources practitioner for advancing the HR profession, providing service to the community, and performing with excellence in their organization.
BV-SHRM presented the 2021 HR Award of Excellence to Ms. Jovannie Lagman, Recruiter for Texas A&M SSC Services. Lagman received a commemorative plaque and a $250 donation, made on her behalf to the Society for Human Resource Management Foundation. Donations to the SHRM Foundation advance thought leadership, provide HR professionals scholarships, and support research identifying practical solutions to workplace challenges.
Jovannie Lagman was nominated by her supervisor, Human Resource Manager of Texas A&M SSC Services, Peggy Cruse. Her nomination highlighted her passion and dedication to the HR profession and our community. Jovannie has taken an active role in diversity education by recently speaking at a Diversity Movement virtual conference regarding her recent US citizenship journey and serves on the BV-SHRM board as the diversity chair. She is well-deserving of this honor and exemplifies the characteristics of an excellent human resources practitioner.
