    Topic: Thinking Forward: How Strategic Leaders See What's Next
    By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
    1. Define strategic thinking and explain how it differs from operational or tactical thinking in HR and organizational leadership
    2. Identify key behaviors and mindsets that enable HR professionals to anticipate future trends, align people strategies with business goals, and make data-informed decisions
    3. Apply practical frameworks for connecting day-to-day HR actions to long-term organizational objectives.
    4. Recognize barriers to strategic thinking—including urgency bias, reactive cultures, and limited cross-department collaboration—and learn ways to overcome them.
    5. Develop a simple action plan for integrating strategic thinking into talent development, workforce planning, and leadership pipelines.

    • Walk-ins: Walk-in registrations at the door will be $30 for members and non-members. While we make every effort to ensure space for our walk-ins, they are not guaranteed.
    • Cancellations and No Show Policy: If you need to cancel your luncheon reservation, we must receive your cancellation no later than 10am the Monday prior to the luncheon. If we do not receive your cancellation, by the deadline, you are considered a no-show and will be charged for the full luncheon fee. Please remember that the venue is already accounting for your reservation after that time.
