Topic: Imposter Syndrome: Recognizing & Overcoming the Inner Critic
Imposter Syndrome, or Imposter Phenomenon, is defined as “a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their skills, talents or accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a fraud". Recent studies estimate that 70% of individuals will experience imposter syndrome at least once in their lifetime. Signs of imposter syndrome can include feelings of self-doubt, fear of failure, and perfectionism to name a few. The objective of this training is to understand the impact of imposter syndrome on your personal wellbeing, professional growth and organizational culture. Participants in this training will walk away with tools to:
1) Recognize the signs and symptoms of imposter syndrome;
2) Learn practical techniques and strategies to challenge negative self-talk; and
3) Explore ways to support an inclusive culture to combat imposter syndrome and cultivate one of empowerment.

- Walk-ins: Walk-in registrations at the door will be $30 for members and non-members. While we make every effort to ensure space for our walk-ins, they are not guaranteed.
- Cancellations and No Show Policy: If you need to cancel your luncheon reservation, we must receive your cancellation no later than 10am the Monday prior to the luncheon. If we do not receive your cancellation, by the deadline, you are considered a no-show and will be charged for the full luncheon fee. Please remember that the venue is already accounting for your reservation after that time.
